1. Thater 3-band (26mm x 50mm) in Emillion Blue Box Elder Burl Handle via RV. This brush knot was originally purchased from Bullgoose in this handle when he had his clearance sale:

http://www.royalshave.com/p/411-106-00/t...ebony.html

The Ebony handle split shortly after use (must not have been water proofed). I removed the knot via the steam method outlined here and had Rudy fit it in this handle. During removing the knot, a tiny puff of hair was left and when putting in the handle, Rudy made some blue epoxy to fill the gap (see photo). It was hardly any hair and doesn't affect the performance of this brush whatsoever. Just too soft for me. I believe I originally paid $150 for the brush on clearance and have $55 more in from RV. Asking $105 NOW ASKING $90 for this. Brush is NOW $75
FYI - the Stabilized box elder burl is totally waterproof. I actually really love this handle in the hand, just not the know so much.

2) Pair of Semogue's selling as set only. 1305 and 1800. Still need more breaking in, but I've decided I only want one boar and my 620 has won out. Asking $25 shipped for the pair. SOLD

3) TGN UK Silvertip (25mm x 48 mm) in purple/blue box elder burl. If you don't know the history of this knot it was offered for a limited time and is believed to be a Vulfix knot. Personally it reminds me a lot of a chubby 1 super knot. These were $55 for the knot alone when I got it. I had RV put it in a slant handle for face lathering. Worked great, but there was a knot in the burl that started falling off in the front. I tried to repair this with epoxy and you can see the white remaining with a little seeped into the base of the knot. It fixed the knot in the wood, and the brush works fine, but is not the prettiest to the eyes anymore. Asking $30 for this that someone could make in to a travel brush or the like, or just want to experience the UK Silvertip knot. Work from RV was around $50 in addition on this. SOLD

4). Kent B&B Limited Edition 08 - not much to say here. Excellent brush. Only brush that I've ever sold only to go seeking it out again. To now sell again. Just way too soft for me, but is a face latherers dream. I've pretty much determined that I only like Simpson Best hair for 3-bands. Asking $140. Comes with original case. SOLD

That Kent LE is one of the prettiest handles out there, and the more I used it, more I appreciated the knot. Nice offerings!

I'd like to get the Thater sold. Brush is now $75. This is almost 1/3 of the costs I have in this.
