I decided that I wanted to pass my brush money around to the smaller makers. I had decided this before MAP etc. I just like to go with the little guy, especially when they put out a product at a fair price.

I just decided to check out different artisan brush makers and go with the first one that I found visually appealing.

I saw this offering from Bob Farvour and had to snap it up.

Loft is at 47, TGN finest (never had that knot) at 24mm

Straight from the package

size comparison

The handle is fantastic. A lil heft, and firm back bone. Did a test lather with some RR XXX and it sure does hold water. I snuck a lil face scrub and this is the scritch-y-est brush I have (maybe that will go away a bit) but I did not mind it.

Sweet brush! I love TGN Finest, particularly the Fan with extra hair.

Also wanted to say that the scritch I felt pre-test lather was reduced considerably this morning when I passed it on my cheek.
