Some of the most beautiful razors are in polished brass IMO. Wolfman Blackland, Timeless, Karve, etc. I had a Karve that I parted with and have since regretted it. A gentleman in another group gave me a deal that was too good pass up and I received yesterday.

I'm not a professional at this by any means so I'm using my newly obtained Karve as the guinea pig. I set to work on it this morning and still have some more work to do but overall I'm loving how it's turning out. The base plate needing most of the work due to all the nook's and crannies. My wheels are about end of life so have to buy some new ones to finish it up. I do have another top cap and baseplate on the way that I plan to polish and force a patina on for my Rod George handle which I will share once complete. Can't beat shiny goodness!  Biggrin

Although I prefer Matt finish, I must admit that these picture looks great! What is the process you used to polish it? I only have a few polished razor and bought them polished because it was the only option available. It could be great to know how you’ve done it if I want to “repolish” it later down the road.

Thank you! I use polishing wheels with different compounds. Start off with white then change the wheels and finish off with red.
