Pitralon is Back!

We first brought Pitralon aftershave to the United States about ten years ago but, the manufacturer required such a huge amount that we never replenished our stock when we sold out a few years ago. I am happy to announce that I have found a distributor for Pitralon Classic and we once again have it in our shop. This time tested classic is hard to find in the United States and it definitely deserves a spot in your Shave Cave.

Nice! Which one is headed my way?

We used to order the Swiss Pitralon directly but the minimum order quantity was huge (1800 bottles). I'll continue to explore other avenues to see if I can find a source where I can buy it in more modest quantities.

1800? Wowsa! That's a whole lot of bottles!

Pitralon Classic is an excellent aftershave splash.  I'm glad it's back at BullGoose.

I’ve been looking forward to this restock. The Swiss and Pure are two of my favorites, and fortunately I have backups of both. I find the Swiss to be very soothing, and very uniquely scented. I’ve said this before; to my nose the Pitralon Pure reminds me of a refined version of Pinaud Clubman. Really looking forward to my incoming bottle of Classic, and would love to get my hands on a bottle of Polar, too!

I have not found a source for Swiss Pitralon but I have found a source for Ralon. From what I understand, Ralon was Swiss Pitralon before Swiss Pitralon. 

Years and years of shaving and I've never used it. Maybe I should give it a shot

At one point I owned all of the 5-6 Pitralon after shaves.
Somehow forgot about them.

After I bought 12 x 400 ml of the green and red Proraso AS and found a place that has my 3 Floid AS favourites AS in the 400 ml bottles I somehow forgot about Pitralon.

I wish Pitralon made the black and red one with the petrol banana scent in a 400 ml version.
It’s a weird scent but somehow I just enjoyed that after shave a lot.

I am happy to see Pitralon inching its way back into the US market. I have my bottle of classic now (thanks Phil) and I am hoping for the rest of the varieties to make an appearance. Still nursing a bottle of Polar (only for 90+ summer shaves) and a 3/4 bottle of swiss.

Yes! You nailed it, Claus. “Petrol banana” is an excellent description. I agree, a weird scent but highly enjoyable. It dissipates quickly, too, which is a plus if you ask me. I’m sure you appreciate that, as it likely doesn’t interfere with your edt. I consider myself fortunate with two bottles of Swiss P stashed away in reserve.
