Dirty Bird Pottery Closed Permanently

Over time I purchased a number of different lather bowls, mugs etc in an effort to find one that works best for me.  By works best, I mean that is good for making lather and I enjoy using.  Julie's Bill Bowl hits the mark.  So disappointed to see her close her shop.  I have the blue rim on spice.  Wish I bought two in case I ever have an accident with mine.

Very sad, indeed.  Julie had been battling brain cancer.  While undergoing treatment she was working on a limited basis, as her condition allowed.  However, on August 11, 2022, she posted on Facebook that her latest MRI showed the cancer had gone into remission.  She has not posted anything further about her health since then.  She is a gifted ceramic artist and her shaving items are exceptional.  I hope she is well.

Sad day. I've owned a number of her bowls and scuttles and all were perfection.

Now sadly watch for the 2 to 3x price markups in the BSTs. 

Oh man, so sorry to hear that. I hope she continues to do well healthwise.

I do not believe anyone on this forum will do this.  Hopefully they will not.  Also, I turned the big 75 and am going to try to find some gear a new home.  As it turns out some of the gear is Dirty Bird made.  There will be no mark up...just mark down.

I agree 100% in regards to TSN and it's BST. Sadly other BSTs will not be as gentlemanly.

Sorry to hear about Julie. Hope she does okay.

I picked up one of her shaving bowls in late 2021.
It's great!
