Spanish Floid is the authentic one Sisi1 , since 1932 , and the barnd behind it (Colomer) have decided to intoroduce a new Floid with a new scent : so the "fragancia moderna y masculina " (modern fragrance and masculine ) have been born.

Is now available in Spain and hopefully , would be arriving soon to the USA market. I haven't smelled it yet , but it seems it has a more fresher fragrance than the actual one.

Well , I will wait to try it and write my opinion about it.

I will be VERY interested in finding out what this smells like. I currently do not care much for their Suave and Vigoroso .

Interesting, I still haven't got around to trying all the flavors of Floid. I've only tried the Italian Blue and although I absolutely love it, I use it very sparingly as it's my only bottle, it's discontinued and very pricey when it does pop up on the market. My bottle was $36 a year ago and the last time I saw any in stock it was $55..that's getting out of my budget range for an AS. Funny thing is I didn't care much for Blue at first, I thought it smelled like an expensive Aqua Velva..but as I used it more the scent transformed and became more refined to my nose than AV and I really started to enjoy the feeling it leaves on my skin...now I watch as the level of my bottle slowly dwindles. Sad

This sounds like a non-starter for me. I despise the movement that the fragrance industry has taken toward these so called "fresh" scents. I would bet that it's going to smell like an Axe spray or the Valeiro aftershave. Every time I hear the word "fresh" you loose me.

One can only hope for the best . . . as far as I'm concerned a 1930s era formula is modern enough.

This thread inspired me to order another bottle of Floid Blue Wink. I am very curious to hear the reviews on this new one though.

I received the new Floid today. I haven't used it yet, but out of the bottle, the scent is the same as the Floid after shave balm.

Ingredients: Alcohol Denat., Aqua (Water) (Eau), Glycerin, Parfum (Fragrance), Linalool, Limonene, Butylphenyl Methylpropional, Coumarin, Citral, Sodium Chloride, Cl 19140 (Yellow 5), Cl 16255, Cl 73015
