Gillette date codes are usually a letter for the year and then a number for the calendar quarter it was made in. For example in 1981 you would have B1 (1981 1st quarter), B2 (1981 2nd quarter), B3 (1981 3rd quarter), and B4 (1981 4th quarter). If I'm correct in what I found it appears Gillette only made Super Adjustables in 1981 with a black plastic bottom plate with both a vertical and diamond knurling on the handle.
Not sure if Gillette made any other razors that year as the sources I found were not really clear of any others.
