Canadian ABC Set

I just picked this Canadian ABC razor off of eBay a couple of weeks ago. And I got to wondering if the US ABC’s & the Canadians were made in the same timeline. Or did Canada get a late start? As I’ve never seen an Empire, Scroll, Flower or Shell handle come with a Canadian set.
