This Rooi Afrikaner soap from Bundubeard in Pretoria, South Africa is fantastic - it’s tallow based, it has such a lovely soapy/herbal scent, it lathers beautifully, and it’s so skin friendly. The Proraso Blue balm is very soothing as well as moisturizing, and the Hega aftershave from Sweden has a nice neutral scent that doesn’t disrupt the gorgeous fragrance of the Bleu de Chanel - not only that, it’s feels quite cooling. Three passes gave me a brilliant BBS shave that I enjoyed immensely!

My face is so frozen from all this menthol that I think it’s going to take all day to thaw out. The Glacial Electric Sheep is such a treasure - it’s the first and only Glacial soap with a mutton tallow base - its delightful scent (to me) filled the bathroom, my beautiful Yaqi Barber Pole churned up such fabulous lather, the menthol sensation was insane, and it left such a comfortable postshave feeling that the Prep enhanced, and the Rubby Dubby Doo gave me lots of additional icy cold goodness. Finally a little Aramis and I’m good to go. Another awesome fun filled three pass BBS shave!
