Thanks to squatzilla801 (Amir) I discovered a new local barbershop in Salt Lake City.To my surprise , this barbershop is run by a Master Barber , Mr Joshua Hatch , the only Master Barber in Utah , for what I understood. Also they carried all the D.R. Harris products as well as some Taylor of Old Bond Street.

I have been looking for a place like this for a long time here in SLC , and I was so happy that I finally found one run by a Master Barber with such an elegant style. This is the place to pamper yourself with a haircut or a traditional shave with some of the best products out there.Joshua uses the D.R. Harris products , as well as the Taylor of Old Bond Street ones and thats a big plus.I know now where to go when I need a shave (a haircut is another story Biggrin).

Some pics of the place :

These are Mr Joshua grandfather's straight razor , who was another Master Barbershop in SLC :

There is no place like this in Salt Lake City (forget the crappy and expensive AoS barbershop service , with "hot foam" from a machine , instead of the good whipped lather from a shaving cream) and a great change to truly experience what is to be shaved by a Master Barbershop or get a haircut , on a one by one experience.

The Barbershop is located at the City Creek Mall , at the GYM , 3rd floor. The phone number for an appointment is : 801-440-1289

Pretty happy to see how this traditional barbershops , with a touch of style are back.I remember being a teen and going with my 80 years old grandpa to get a haircut and a shave and that was a superb experience. Now , I hope to pamper myself with a shave from a Master Barber once every month (maybe twice or even 3 times Biggrin). The experience is worth it , trust me.

What a great find Teiste! I wish there was something like that near by me. It's nice to have a place to browse products like D.R. Harris in person.

How are the prices on DR Harris products? Does he sell at list or is there a significant mark-up due to location and clientele?

If I lived in SLC that would be an annual birthday treat for sure.

Seems to me that we need to put together a Nook Night at the BS for some good old fashion pampering! I will definitely be checking this place out.

Just found out a 100ml bottle of Dr Harris Sandalwood AS is $38.00 so not bad for not having to pay shipping.
