Thanks to a valued member of this forum I am now owning a real gem: The Kent 2008 LE B&B brush. Those don't show up often on BST and I was lucky to secure it after looking around for it for a while... And indeed: soft tips, short loft and much more dense than a usual Kent this brush is a great face latherer...

Truly enjoy this brush... finally a short lofted Kent in a dense knot that is a joy to use...

I sometimes wonder why Kent dont release a regular brush , like the BK8 with a shorter loft.

Enjoy it , German.Seems like a luxurious , good brush.

I owned the Kent 2008 LE and regrettably sold it.
It is a fantastic brush! What sets them apart is the short loft and extra density.
Lucky for me I have both the black and butterscotch Kent 2009 LE to console myself with...

From the moment I received mine, I'm the original owner, I loved this brush. It's in my daily rotation and is my preferred travel brush along with my Wee Scot. If you want this brush you'll have to pry it out of my cold, dead hands.Tongue

Another one that got away. Issued and sold out just before I joined the wetshaving forums. Unsynchronized passion, but always great to see them around.

Perhaps Kent should consider reissuing these LE brushes. A Kent shaving brush, particularly one with a short loft and extra dense knot would likely be well received by the shaving community, particularly if combined with these beautiful handles.

Many have echoed this plea multiple times in many forums, and it has unfortunately appeared to have fallen on deaf ears.
