Teiste has been hard at work with Bernd of Shavemac to create a limited edition Shave Nook Anniversary Brush. The beehive shape of the handle is a reinterpretation of a vintage Shavemac Beehive. The brush will come well packed with a 23mm diameter knot and a loft of between 50mm and 52mm depending on the type of hair you choose.

Some of the details are still being worked out but I thought that I would share a few pictures of the prototype brushes. The production brushes may have a slightly different inscription (we are thinking serial numbers instead of names). Also...we are not sure if there will be a choice of handle color.

Teiste has taken many additional pictures and will likely share them later in the day.

Whoa! That's beautiful. Argh, just I'm getting rid of stuff and "simplifying" my den (and staying far away from shavemac to avoid "accidentally" ordering a horn handled D01).

It reminds me of an Omega boar brush. I have no idea why.

We are still working on a time frame but they should be available sometime in November. You would order them directly from Shavemac.

Teiste posted prices in the mod forum but I do not want to post them in case I misinterpreted something. Teiste will likely pop onto the site soon and will post the prices.

I will say this...the prices are excellent!

Wow, 2 LE brushes within months of each other. I'm not sure if I'll be able to pull this one off or not. Price will decide. Maybe I should go ahead and post a BST WTB for this brush. Hmm

start unloading some products you had stashed away...this is what I'm going to have to do.

I had some razors stashed away for a 'rainy day' that'll need to be unloaded to afford some new brushes.

Wow! This will be as good a time as any to get my first Shavemac! Now to try for #92 (if we go the serial number route).

Love the handle! I hope that D01 makes its way to the hair choices.

Please sign me up for:

D01 2-Band 23 mm knot & 52 mm loft in lightgrey (not shorter than 52 mm, please ! - already own a D01 2-Band Bruyers Wood 24 mm knot and at 48 mm loft and it's too short and scrubby IMHO)
