Why not a sub-forum for clothing, shoes, etc. Style or Fashion if you choose. Goes hand-in-hand with shaving, grooming, etc.

That's a good suggestion Larry, I'll ask the Mods to put it on the list.

I'd be opposed to it because it strays too far from the purpose of the forum IMHO. plus, I don't think it would get used much.

of course the other admins and mods can chime in.

I'd rather stay focused on traditional wet shaving.

I'm not opposed, but if it never gets used much, what's the point?

Thank you for the suggestion Larry. Shoes, clothes and such can certainly be discussed and they do go hand in hand with grooming. That said, I do not think a separate section is needed at this point...they can be discussed in the parlor. If we start seeing a proliferation of clothing related threads, then it may make sense. Right now though, I am afraid it would be a lonely subsection.

OK, but there are several subforums that have nothing to do with wet shaving such as hair care, toothpastes, deodorant, etc.

How about on the Selling and Trading forum there are sub-forums for either a 'Want To Buy' section, maybe even a 'Want To Trade' section?

It would keep members from going to other forums on clothing, shoes, etc. Plus the Parlor has too much other stuff on it to navigate through to get to a certain topic but it's up to you guys!

These subforums do have something to do with grooming which is why they were added. That said, these particular subforums are fairly quiet (some might say dead) which is why we are reluctant to add more subforums of this ilk.

We are not saying that your suggestion is a bad suggestion...just that the timing is not right.
