Good morning

An excellent shaving even though the media are not exceptional.

A tech gillette Teiste purchased several months ago and I care as a gem, as their shaves are smooth and effective.

Carabela Semogue brush, limited edition that is perfect shaving soaps.

A replacement for Taylor whose flavor and foam are its strengths.

And finally an After Shave very Spanish, with a distinctive aroma and leaves a good feeling on your face after shaving.

Let an excellent day for shaving excellent.

Good day to all.

Razor: EJ Plaza
Blade: Gillette Super Thin
Brush: Simpson Eagle 3 Best
Soap/Cream: Fitjar Sandalwood
EdT;A/S: Floid Blue

I am not very good at describing scents in a product but here goes - IMHO the Fitjar Sandalwood soap has a prominent scent of cedar that is just amazing. Very different from other sandalwood scents that I have had the opportunity to try. A DFS today.

A very refreshing shave, from the beginning to the end! The "Affair" balm, from Brazil, is one of the coolest balms that I know of - it really freezes your face.

Omega Wooden Handle
Dovo Bismarck 5/8
Palmindaya SC
Booster Moswood
JHL Cologne

I cannot believe how wonderful it felt to enjoy a nice, long, soothing and relaxing shave with my Dovo Bismarck this morning. I did three passes with it and not even my barber could have done a better job. The Palmindaya cream smells so nice and traditional without any of that lousy "modern" or "retro" note, and the Booster Mosswood aftershave was such a delightful finish, along with a little JHL cologne.

Razor: iKon Bulldog OC
Blade: Super Iridium
Brush: Simpson Douglas
Pre-Shave: Musgo Real Glyce Lime
Cream: Lavanda
A/S: Taylor Bay Rum

The iKon Bulldog and Iridium combo continue to work their magic this time aided by some fine lather from the Lavanda cream. I enjoyed an excellent shave followed by a splash of Taylor Bay Rum. Very nice indeed.

I Coloniali Rhubarb shaving cream sample (thanks Pam)

Prairie Creations original Unscented Aftershave Balm
Confiaça Pó de Talco (Talcum Powder)
Houbigant Duc de Vervins EdT

Pam sent me a sample of the I Coloniali Rhubarb shaving cream and I must say I am impressed. I like everything about it but the price. At $20.00 for a 100 ml (3.6 oz.) tube it is definitely expensive.

The Duc de Vervins EdT by Houbigant is, for me, a wonderful scent. Citrus, sweet spices, and aromatic woods is the description given on Fragrancenet.com.

A lazy Sunday with some of my favorite classical music playing. Wonderful! Biggrin
