Who do you want to win?

Who do you think will win?

Detroit's pitching staff is set up perfectly. With Verlander and Max Scherzer scheduled to pitch twice (if the series goes 7 games), they have to be considered the favorites.

I am just happy that the Yankees are not in the series. My two favorite teams are the White Sox and whoever is playing the Yankees. Biggrin

I'm pulling for the Tigers for two reasons:

1. The Giants were there two years ago.

2. The City of Detroit could use a boost.

I want Detriot to win, because the last time they won was 1984.

Giants won it only two years ago, so not really excited to see them win.

Go Tigers.

My reason? Tigers are cooler than Giants. Tongue

I understand everything mentioned above, but the Giants have the "fire in the belly" needed to win despite all odds to the contrary. If Detroit has better pitchers, but the Giants have desire, then my money would be on SF if I were a betting man. Good luck to both, and stay safe.

+1 Plus, as a longtime Dodgers fan while growing up, I still hold a grudge against S.F.

I'm pleased that the Giants, have finally broken the Cards magic.

Detroit has had six days rest, the have great pitching, the bats to make runs, and excellent fielding. I'm rooting for the Tigers.

Johnny, I agree Detroit could use the boost for winning the Series.

Gigantes are my team so I clearly want them to win.

The Tigers are rested, pitching lined up, and have the best pitcher and hitter in the game...Looks like they should be a huge favorite...but for some reason, I don't think it's going to be that easy for them.

Johnny, while not usually a sports fan, I agree with you here on both counts, especially the city of Detroit needing a boost.

I picked Detroit but don't follow either team. Cub and Ranger fan here, doubt I even watch this year.

I am very happy though that the Yankees and cardinals are not in it!

They are indeed. That is one thing I love about baseball...you have to play the games. Anything can happen.

I would have never thought the Giants would win in 4 games. Congratulation to the Giants.
