I'm a face latherer - never bowl lather anymore !

I already own a Shavemac D01 2-band bulb, which I originally ordered in 24mm/52 mm - but got one in 24mm/48mm.

Now I will order 4 more Shavemac custom brushes, 3 in D01 3-Band and 1 in D01 2-band. The 3 D01 3-Band will be in 24mm/46mm FLAT TOP, 25mm/50 mm Fan shape and 26mm/52mm bulb shape - but I'm in doubt whether to go for a D01 2-Band in FLAT TOP or Fan shape ?

The D01 2-band will be 25mm/54mm - but would you recommend me to get it in fan shape or Flat Top - remember I face lather exclusively - and only shaving creams & croaps, NOT SOAPS ?

Thanks Cool

Fan is the perfect spot between bulb and flat.

When I first saw a flat top a few years back I didn't like it. Now I find myself wanting to get one or two with flat tops.

Its ugly IMO. But I'm sure it's very attractive to some people.

From an aesthetic point of view I don't like flat tops. For me they always look a bit ridiculous. Absolutely not my cup of tea. The one Luis bought is the very first appealing flat top brush to me.

But I think, I wouldn't buy even this brush. And I prefer to use triple milled soaps and face lathering, which is the domain of these brushes. For lathering croaps and cremes I'd never buy one.

But then, considering the fact that you probably suffer from the severest form of SBAD mankind has ever seen, I'm sure that you'll buy all four, including the flat top. And under your circumstances, with a brush buying rate greater than one per day, a few flat top have to be among your umpteen brushes.
