Just wondering. I haven't run into any issues by not joining yet. Is there some limit I haven't reached or something?

There is a limit to the amount of data you can upload. Photo linking services like TinyPic, Photobucket, etc eliminate that issue. They host the image and you just link to it so you don't add to the massive data that I can only assume could slow down the site.

It's just more convenient storage and doesn't use your space here. I used imgur but since we have that plugin here for tinypic, makes it faster.

I usually use Photobucket but under certain circumstances find it easier to use the TinyPic plugin. Both work fine for me.

not sure.

but since you run two sites, why not just install your own photo gallery software?

both Teiste and I do this and don't have any limits on our photos whatsoever.

Didn't know I could do that, actually.

I just upload to the server and link that way.
