Well after today's gentlemanly debate over AdP vs XXX, I decided it was time to try out one of the new soaps I picked up from Joe. (Man I own so many soaps I just cannot get to them all). Today I used Mudder Focker.

I think due to my also in the process of breaking in a new Semogue 2011 LE boar size 2 I had a miserable time trying to build up a lather in my scuttle so I moved to face lathering.

Great soap, great feeling skin afterwards. What I am trying to figure out is what the heck this smells like. I **really** like the scent but cannot place it aside from the fact it has earth tones. Any help here is appreciated.

Also, is this a unique to RR blend, or is it like 888, XXX, R.160 etc? If the latter, what is it meant to replace.

Great work on this one Joe, I will be picking up a second tub since it is a limited edition.

I'll admit, I only got this soap because of the name Biggrin
Had no expectations and was so pleasantly surprised, I don't know how to describe the scent but I like it very much!

I too picked it up due to the name. I also picked up Bee's Knees due to the name.

I would love to learn more about Mudder Focker. Just a great scent and a good performer.

I actually email Joe a while back asking about the scent of Mudder Focker because I loved it so much. His response was that it was very reminiscent of the Boellis Panama line of products, which he also carries, and describes as "The scent is classic with citrus coupled with sweet vanilla. Warm spices and tobacco add depth to this scent" on his site.

Yeah, I've read the scent description many times, it tells me nothing. Undertones, overtones, hint of this, hint of that, bla bla bla bla Biggrin
I wish every scent was described as something more visual.

Agreed, every description should include a good visual. Mudder Focker smells like this:

Sounds kinda like the description of I Coloniali.

Does anyone have them both and are able to compare?

I had i Coloniali and it smells nothing like Mudder Focker. Mudder Focker to me smells just like J. Peterman 1903 but way less expensive. I bought Mudder Focker as a joke just because i loved the name but it and XXX are my two favorite RazoRock Scents and performers. I love them!!

I have both and they are nothing like each other. Neither in smell nor performance. I love I Coloniali and have a few pucks to spare in the basement. Mudder Focker is much more subtle, less sweet and more earthy.

I noticed you said you own too many soaps and cannot get to them all. Send them my way and I'll review them for you Wink

Since sending samples of RR Soap is impossible, if you want to borrow my tub to test my theory let me know. The MF scent is a bit subdued compared to 1903, but they're close to me.
