Now I prefer dark beer. Dos Equis dark, Guinness, etc. but brown liquor yuk!

I just had five ounce of Brandy. 

It was Coronet VSQ. It was dark. 

Usually I get bourbon, but this had  a good price. 

And I drank it in a Jameson Irish Whiskey glass. 

I hope this thread will get revived.

I'll help revive it!

My favorite EDB (every day bourbon) is Knob Creek.  Also a fan of all the 4 Roses offerings.  Most of the Buffalo Trace products are solid.  Also, a new offering if you can find it is Smooth Ambler Old Scout.  Good stuff!

Dusting off this thread to share two new bourbons I bought recently on a weekend getaway.  Black Saddle is the first California-bottled bourbon I've encountered (though distilled in Kentucky).  Both tasty and very smooth!
