I am very impressed with the Tradere prototype. Like the iKon Modern and PILS, the head of the razor covers the tabs of the blade which is a very nice feature. The Tradere is a traditional 3-piece open comb razor. The handle is approximately 3/4 of an inch longer than the iKon Bulldog and it weighs in at 122g when loaded with a blade. I found the shave to be very smooth and efficient. I find it difficult to rate the aggression of a razor but it is more aggressive than the iKon OSS but maybe a shade less aggressive than the 2nd Generation Bulldog. It is an excellent razor and I eagerly anticipate its release.

I like it! If it's more affordable than an iKon or Pils I may consider it. Open comb to boot!

Thanks. We worked hard to get it as good as it could be. It is hard to see in the photo, but there are 3 grooves running along each the side of the head cap for better grip, as well as style. Here is a quick snapshot.

The retail price will be well below both the Pils and Ikon S3S full stainless fully machined razors and will include a hard shell case. Pricing and more information will be available within about a week. I will post all of it once we are fully set. Handle orders are off to a great start shipping commenced today.

any chance you'd made a razor that'll accept the injector blades? I'd be willing to send you an injector razor and blades so you could use it for a design if you want.

Will those who ordered a handle and subsequently order a head for the razor get a case also?

Hmmm ... I'm liking the look of this.

Another new razor for the collection when it's released. Smile

Earlier this week or late last week, I received shipment of a Bakelite Fasan open comb slant. I hope to take it for a spin soon.

I'm sorry, I'm sure they're good razors, but those just look to me like they came in a Cracker Jack box.

It kind of feels that way too but if it shaves like the last one, it is a winner. Besides, I do not have to worry about plating loss or corrosion. Biggrin
