Has anyone had any contact with Mike? I haven't seen a post since toward the end of October just as the storm was hitting. Figure probably he has enough going on that he doesn't need me emailing his site or sending pm's. Thought I ask here. Certainly hope all is well with him; that is a very grim situation there that doesn't look like it is getting better very fast.

Thanks so much for your concern. Unlike many other parts of the city, my neighborhood (Crown Heights) had an easy time with the hurricane; we're on fairly high ground. I feel very lucky; as you know, some parts of the city got hit really hard.

Glad to hear that Mike. A number of years ago when I was on a business trip, I told a friend of mine I wanted to go to an interesting neighborhood restaurant. She lived in Queens and we took a trip to Crown Heights (pretty sure that's right) for a Jamaican place. Incredible food.

Glad you are alright.

Glad to hear all is well with you Mike! I'll have to order a full bar of your Barbershop soap. I've about used up my sample and it has become one of my favorites.

Crown Heights has changed dramatically over the past few years, but, fortunately, it still features some great West Indian cuisine.

Glad to hear things are well with you and yours and thanks for getting my samples out in the mist of all the problems there.
