I've been waiting for this brush for a long time. I ordered two, one for myself, and one for my dad. He's been wanting some brush and soap, and being a full blooded Italian, he is sure to love it! Had to go with some Razorock Classic for the soap to keep things very Italian.

I just ordered one. I always wanted a 1305 with natural bristles. The Italian colors don't hurt anything either.

I've owned many a Moto Guzzi in my time. I was president of the Moto Guzzi club in Dallas back in the 70's. We use to have a big rally every year in a small town just south of Dallas named, Italy, Texas. I still have my gold key and plaque stating I was the honorary mayor of Italy, Texas.

So being an owner of a SOC boar, this brush probably wouldn't add much diversity to my small collection as far as performance, right? It sure is pretty looking though and exclusive to my favorite Italian/Canadian vendor! Tough call that I'm gonna have to sleep on.

Since this just appears to be a 1305 with undyed hair and a different-colored handle...

I like the 1305, it is not the same as the SOC but IMHO the SOC is the better brush, and it won't add as much diversity as you may think.

The 1305 and the SOC are different performers , Im afraid. For me , the 1305 is a better one , but Im more partial to brushes with knots under 23 mm , to be honest. Also , the 1305 is basically ready in a week of use , while the SOC takes over 15 days to be fully ready.

I dont think that nobody would regret having a brush like this or a 1305 , if they like/love boar brushes.

By the way , Joseph , how are you going to nickname this brush (if you have any nickname on mind or desire to do so) ? : the "Mastroianni" , the "Il Italiano" ...

Come on , that brush is a charmer , like Marcello Mastroianni...I can see myself using that brush with Acqua Di Parma/RazoRock XXX and going back to the 60's....Wink

Man these LE brushes are killing me. I just ordered one. Glad to see it is a natural color as I dislike the dyed ones.
