This is my new Li Jun & 1980 finest badger shaving brush. After my bad experience with the Frank Shaving brush (best badger) I decided to give another try for a 100% chinese made brush
-Knot:21mm
-Loft:51mm
-Handle Height:54mm
-Total Height:10.5cm

The handle its quiet heavy and sturdy, much better than the Frank Shaving one that I have. Its looks like a Plisson handle:

The hair its not as good as the one used by New Forest (2201) or even the new Semogue finest badger, however its a good quality hair and it seems that its not black badger with bleached tips.

It has a good hair density and to make lather with it its really easy:I have tried with soaps and creams with excellent results.

Is this brush better made than the european ones?Well,NO but its a decent, nice, well made and cheap brush and if you are on a tight budget, could be a great option.

I need to try it more, but so far Im happy with it and for its price,10 euros with shipping, its well worth it.

Well, I had a little better luck with Frank Shaving brushes. I have two. One was sold as a 26mm High Mountain Badger bulb but is very obviously bigger than that, I'd guess 28 or 29mm. It's a black "Chubby" shape handle and it's bigger than my Chubby 2. The other is a faux green jade Persian Jar type with a fan shaped 24mm Finest knot. They both are very good brushes, excellent considering what I paid. I'm very happy with them. As a matter of fact, the only brushes I have that I'm not happy with are the three which I gave synthetics a shot with.

LiJUn & 1980 brand doesn't appear on eBay any more, anyone know what happened to the vendor. I did find a website for the manufacturer, The closest thing to this LiJUn & 1980 Brand I could find is a Liojuny brand being sold at this eBay shop

They look very similar to the Franks brand which I like in the Finest hair brushes. Thanks
