Probably made by Vulfix. I'm sure it is a decent brush.

Yes , looks like a Vulfix 223X series.

So is $24.00 for a pure badger and $70.00 for a super badger not a bad price? Loft is about 49mm I guess.

I think the Vulfix 2234 , the one which has 49 mm loft , in super badger , cost less than 70 dollars.
