On the theme of odd or unusual razors I think this one qualifies. Granted, the razor is not unusual as it's a common style Gillette, but the entire package is neat.
It's called a Fold-A-Brush for the obvious reason.
The case is nicely made with machine turned interior. The frame that holds the spare blades and the razor head also locks in the shave cream tube ( never used) and the handle for the razor.

This frame hinges up to release the tube and the handle.

The brush, what I find fascinating and a good resolution to carrying a brush is how it folds up into a nice brush.

These do show up from time to time but many have found it a cool piece to see. Thought you might enjoy it as well.

Well that's one of the most interesting wet shaving items I have seen. Amazing the innovations in the earlier part of the 20th century.

Yes it is. I enjoy collecting stuff that is a bit out of the ordinary when I can find it. I think it adds some perspective to the whole phenomenon of our hobby. I'm always amazed at what people came up with at the time. Fun stuff!

OK, I'm not a collector, but that is just too cool! I'd "have it" just to have it.

Yup,, me too. Little did I know at the time I'd turn into a collector. I had no idea its rarity or whatever at the time. I was into DE's , thought this was cool and just bought it for that reason alone.
Since then I've heard from Mr. Razor ,, who has one on his site that I know he paid $175 for and he wanted to buy mine.
Like I said,, what did I know.

Very interesting. Such a clever design, I never would have thought about splitting the brush up like that. Thanks for sharing.
