I know there is neat looking TSN Ltd edition, but is there a 2012 Ltd in the works?

I have a bunch of the prior years but this year is special.. My 50th B-Day is on 12/12. Birth year is 1962.

I have the Semogue 2010 ltd Boar with SN #62. Last year I scored the 2011 Ltd (also opted for a boar) in SN #12. I must find a 2012 in SN#12!!

What's the update on 2012 Ltd??

There was one earlier this year. They sold out in a weekend and are highly regarded. They have a similar badger/boar mix as the Caravela. Mine is my go-to brush.

Badger/Boar mix? First I have ever heard of that. I'll look into it.

He's referring to the TSN LE from Semogue earlier this year.

Nope. if and whey you get a LE, quite often they post a list of what numbers people have (provided they give the info) and it's then you can try and arrange a trade/swap etc.

too much work for the vendors and/or manufacturer to set aside specific brush for people. once stock is low, like it was with the 2011 Semogues, some vendors will tell you what numbers they have left.

I knew the answer to that before I asked it..

But it never hurts to ask.

As far as the boar/badger mix.. never heard of mixing the two. I am a boar whore myself.

This is most excellent news. I secretly hope it is select silvertip but know whatever it is, it will be worthwhile.

Which LE are we talking about? There seems to be more LE brushes then standard ones being released these days Huh

Even the LE's are confusing, some are vendor specific, some site specific and some mfg specific. Hard to keep track of them all. Perhaps we need a listing with pics to show them all from the past few years....I for one would love to see them all in 1 spot.

Bruce, he's referring to Semogue's brand specific LE for 2012. Basically the follow up to the 4 LEs in the black marble-ish handles (Boar 1 & 2; Fine Badger 1 & 2).

Thanks. I had seen a post about it, but don't think anything has been confirmed as far as handle or material etc. I'm guessing they will be 2012 now.

I think the 1st sneak peak for those will be on the Semogue FB page, but that is just a guess.

much appreciated for the info...
