Okay, so my father-in-law owns an antique shop and he gave me this odd little gillette. Could anybody give me a little info on this razor?

Looks like a standard travel Tech.

Different cases of course, yours looks like an aftermarket case.

Not much, regular Techs usually run anywhere from 3-10 bucks..I'd say travel Techs are about the same.

I mothballed ALL of my Techs, even my travel tech as being too mild for my use. Then I recently brought them out of mothballs.

If you find it's too mild for you, remember the use of shims to make it more aggressive. I use 2 spent blades with the sharp edges cut off with a sissor. The shims go under the blade. Of course you can use just one if that works for you.

It can use any Tech handle too if the shorty is too short.

BTW, nice case. Mine was falling apart so I made a homemade case for it. You might want to put some neatsfoot oil or other leather preservative on it to keep it that way.
