It says 80% of today's popular cartridges sold on ebay are knockoffs, which are not aligned properly.

Right after I began to shave the old fashioned way in 2010, I noticed that stores like Wal-Mart started putting these cartridges in theft-proof cases due to the high prices.

So consumers of modern wetshaving are given a choice:
1.Knockoffs
2.Ripoffs

I remember a while back reading that some DE blades had been counterfieted also like Super Iridiums when they started to dissapear. Sometimes you have to be careful where you buy from; what seems like a great deal may not always be worth it.

Traditional wet shaving gives us the greatest control over the shaving process, plus it's cheaper and more fun.

Most Stores - Walmart, Grocery, Drug Stores have most of their cartridges in theft-proof cases due to the high prices.

And you are right - KnockOffs are all over the place.

And Super Iridiums Blades were also counterfieted.

And Consumers of modern wetshaving are given several choices:

1. 3 - Blades
2. 4 - Blades
3. 5 - Blades
4. 6 - Blades (I actually saw this in a store.)
5. Canned Goo
6. Shaving Gel
7. Latherless Cream
8. Williams and/or Van Der Hagen Shaving Soap
9. You might have Conk's where you live but I have not seen it abound "The Magic Kingdom".

I would not return to the dreaded cartridges from cost point.
I have traditional the most enjoyable way to shave. The plus side is that is far economic.

I had this problem myself.Years before i used a Mach 3.My blades were gone,so i had to buy some new.

I went to the flea market to by some.Hell, this was a crap!!!The blades were dull (many weeks later i found out that the blades were counterfeits). The blades were pulling and tugging and the shaves were not good anymore.

The next time the flea market was there,i went to the booth where i had bought my blades and asked the seller if he wants to kidding me...I had a loud argue with him.

In the end the whole thing went good.He gave me my money back and everything was fine.Biggrin

For sure i know that i will never buy shaving articles (especially blades) anywhere else as the dealer of my confidence.

The fact that people might be using such a shoddy, unhygienic item makes my skin crawl.

Never believed in purchasing personal hygiene and grooming items, such as razor blades from a flea market, or from any unknown dealer for that matter. Not only do we need to worry about the knock offs, but also about the health and hygiene aspect of these sub standard blades.

That is why this website, is a fundamental element of the shave experience. We learn things that constantly improve our shave experience through the plethora of members experiences.

Happy Shaving.
