I used the steam method I found here at TSN to remove the synthetic knot from one of my Bufflehead brushes. I then installed a Nathan Clark Envy White Supreme knot, which ended up being set at 31x55-56. This has quickly become one of my favorite brushes with its super luxurious face feel and perfect backbone.
This project was super fun and I ended up with a custom brush that I adore.

One more for the zombie thread.
Just steamed a Pure knot from a shavemac. Love the hair, but at 23/50mm it's to floppy IMO. Been using it o-ringed to 44.9mm, love it.
Only shed one hair since steamed apart, I'm going to let it dry and cool for a day or so to see if the knot is stable then bore and reset at 45mm with RTV.
