Hi ive thought of getting a scuttle for a while but never wanted to buy a big one, earlier i saw this one and was wondering if anyone has any experience it sounds like the perfect scuttle for me but would like some input from those who have used it. Also especially if anyone has traveled with one i dont think i could for fear of breaking it

Sorry A., not ignoring you. I have a couple of her pieces, but not that one. It's fairly new. Personally, it doesn't make too much sense to me. I have a brush scuttle and her original 1x. I love both. Maybe if I traveled more...

I've got one of the DB travel scuttles. it is a bit small if you want to bowl lather for most bushes greater than 22mm. I use mine to keep the lather and brush warm between passes when I face lather. If I want to bowl lather I use my DB 1.5 or the R Becker scuttle.

as for travel I've taken my on a few road trips but not on flights.

DB scuttles are very will made and you will enjoy the warm lather on cold winter days.

I was thinking that maybe making the opening. 3 3/4 inches wide and the depth 2 inches instead of the usual 3 inch wide and 1 1/2 inch depth and putting a small handle on it would help what would you think? cause id like to have small scuttle but still have it be effective.

I think 'small' and 'effective' might be a problem. JMHO

that's bigger then the Original DB Huh "Bowl opening 3.5" wide x 2" deep"

are you wanting a small travel scuttle, brush scuttle or a bowl scuttle?
