My Manchurian Chubby 3 arrived this afternoon. Quite honestly, I have never seen or used a brush like this one.

First of all, the workmanship is first-class. The knot is perfectly shaped (not always the case with Simpsons) and the tips are as white as any brush I have owned. It is probably the densest brush I have ever seen (denser than my other Chubby 3's). The knot has a fine texture that I have only seen in one M&F brush, but that brush felt scratchy to me; this one doesn't. It provides a wonderful and minimally-irritating scrub.

It is not perfect, however - it shed one hair and the badger funk was a bit annoying considering the price of this brush.

Is it worth the price? I have no idea. Am I glad/proud to own it - I sure am! It's an incredible brush!

Very nice looking brush indeed , my friend. Thanks for the pictures , sir!

Is it worth the price? As long as you enjoy it , its worth the price , no doubt about it , and it seems to me that you're going to enjoy it to its fullest.

Congrats.

I also got mine a week ago.

It is exactly like yours. Chubby 3 Manchurian in butterscotch.

But the fan shape on mine is not perfect. It feels a bit misaligned. One cay say poor craftsmanship and another that because it is handmade. I know its handmade so there could be irregularities but its made by Simpsons which means there shouldn't be any misalignment.

Mine hasn't shed a single hair though and I've used it at least 5 times.

Hello Bob, in time the price you paid will fade away. But you will still be left with a Fabulous, wonderful shaving brush. Again "Mark" at Simpson has done you proud, as he always does great photograph's............Enjoy Enjoy Enjoy
