Wow, what a nice team! I hope they don't jump in front of your review of the Vei-Long flat top Wink

Those are some nice looking brushes you have there!

Nice! The 167 handle of the flat top, is it black-brown?

I have the 167 handle in black in a custom made shavemac, but wouldn't buy that handle in pure black again. The high polished black surface is very sensitive to fingerprints, it always looks a bit fatty and greasy. I think the black-brown won't suffer from this effect too much.

And the TSN brush looks nice, too. Mine will come tomorrrow (white in finest with a reduced loft of 47 mm).

Thanks a lot, Sir
I'm about to clean my Vie Long Flat Top, and will give it a few uses the nest week. Will report back to you, when I have my first couple of impressions of it.

Yes, the entire brush with the flat top and handle in brown and black is inspired by Luis from Madrid, from B&B, who ordered the exact same brush - I deliberately don't order black finished brushes any more, because they suffer from fingerprints and they get scratches rather easily - unless the handle is made in very hard black resin, like the Shavemac and Mühle black resin handle with silver foot. A plastic handled finish in black, like the 167 or the Kent BLK type will show marks, scratches and fingerprints too easily, as you mention.

The finish is called 'Brown and black' and looks quite astonishing when you hold them in your hand. Really really a choice of finish I can recommend and the pictures show very well how well that finish looks.
I have a problem showing how good the pearl white finished brush looks - it's gorgeous when hold it in your hand.......

What do you think about the TSN LE handle?

It's very nice looking and pretty nice and solid to hold - first I went for the white, but I have very few black handled brushes now, because I found out how easily black handles gets fingerprints and marks - just take a look at the Kent BLK8 I had, I treat my brushes with the upmost care - yet this brush was pretty scratched before I even used it the first time, and it came directly from Kent official online shop.

The Beehive in black does not suffer from this, since the beehive 'protects' it. It's not the most comfortable handle to hold in my hand, but all in all I really like and enjoy the uniqueness, shape and overall design of this brush Thumbsup - and I chose this brush with the Finest hair, because I felt I needed to know and test if Shavemac Finest hair indeed is comparable in quality to Simpsons Best hair. Also I only paid like €52 for this TSN Beehive in Finest, a bargain IMHO

The TSN Beehive brush looks VERY unique - and I expect to keep this brush in my collection for a looooong time, Teiste Cool

I'd still put down money that it's D01. Shavemac Finest is grey in color at the tips.

What are the other knots?

I'd believe it's Finest. It's not nearly as white or as well defined as the other three 3-band knots he got. Does looks very similar to the Duke 2 Best I had previously.
