It is so interesting to see the diversity here. Some of you listed movies that I had forgotten I enjoyed while some of you listed movies that I thought were awful (operative word, I, meaning I'm speaking only for myself).

Bruce, I have to agree with you about V for Vendetta. The reviews for this movie ranged from "eh" to out and out scathing. However, I thought it was excellent and had a lot to say.

Isn't this what makes movie going, at its best, so wonderful?

I agree Freddy "V..." is a movie i watch at least once a year.

another more modern movie, with some subtle social commentary that I can watch over and over. i think people will be watching and talking about this one in the years to come.
