Gents,

This equipment for sale has treated me well for a long time, but now that I've got my preferences narrowed down it's time to trim the fat a little. Plus, it wouldn't hurt to have a little extra Christmas present money Smile

All razors are either new production like new or complete restores w/ custom scales. All are shave ready. All prices include shipping CONUS. For International, please PM me and we can work something out. Discounts for multiple purchases, of course.

*EDIT: Only the 2" Tony Miller Strop remains, final price is $35 shipped CONUS only!*

First, the straights:

Two Tony Miller Steerhide strops, one 3" and one 2".

The 3" has leather handles and a linen material strop. There are a few nicks which can easily be sanded out, see pictures. $70 $60 SOLD

The 2" has a hard wool felt material strop, it's clean and has not had any paste applied yet. One nick/blemish area, again easily sanded and treated, see picture. $50 $45 $40 $35

Brand new Tony Miller 2" Vegan Strop w/ Cotton material strop. High draw and incredibly nick resistant. Strop is brand new with no damage/nicks, I just prefer the light draw on my Cordovan strop. $55 $45 WITHDRAWN

Brand new 3" SRD 'Roo and 3" Premium Fabric replacement strops. I had plans to fashion these into bench hones, but never got around to it. The 'Roo is a great stropping medium, slightly more draw than my Cordovan but more feedback during stropping.

'Roo - $45 $35 $25 SOLD
Premium Fabric - $10 SOLD
Both Together - $50 $40 $30 SOLD

The hones:

Dubl Duck Barber's Hone in Box, near mint!

It is a good thing I do not use straights anymore as I would go broke buying the above collection.

Nice razors. GLWTS

Haha! There have several times I've considering abandoning straights just because it's such a wonderfully awful money pit, but then another beauty comes along or goes on sale, so they just keep marching in and out of my collection it seems.

do you have any larger pics of the 3" strop? I'm very much interested, cash in hand and all that....just want to see a better view of the nicks first, and they're showing up super tiny on my screen

free bump for a great seller Biggrin

The 3" Tony Miller strop just arrived. Condition was even better then he made it sound and I couldn't ask for better communications, quicker shipping or a smoother transaction. Thanks!

The two that are left are moderately fast on slurry, but slow on water. Neither of them have the superb finishing quality of the one that's already sold, but their size and speed makes them great as touch-up coti's, sort of like a barber's hone. Dilute heavy slurry to water, and these two take the edge to a tolerable shaving level for me, but finishing on CrOx really makes the edges great.

Think it was just a bad reflection on the stabilizer. Here's a solo pic of that angle:
