I dont know who was the maker of this brush , but very nice handle and "hog hair" ...nice !

The lettering looks like lampblack. Did any other UK brush makers use lampblack other than Simpson's?

It does look like something off of the old Simpson lathe's, especially with that font and lamp black. They did make boar brushes for a long time. Huh
