I have not posted since Julyish here. Life happens I suppose but I just wanted to type up a simple note of appreciation to all the members here. Even though, I wasn't always present does not mean I haven't taken your advice to heart. Shaving has since become and stayed a joy to do. I use silver blues with a popular feather TTO. Haven't broken myself of the Barbasol habit maybe in time. Can't begin to thank the users of the forum enough. You guys spread good knowledge here.

P.S. I'll try to be more active.

Don't break yourself of the Barbasol Habit. Use it as a preshave. It works well that way

There is a real world out there with jobs and families, and those are the important things. The forums, especially this one is a good way to get away, relax, and share a common bond with others like you. You make good internet friends and if you're lucky, once in awhile you get to meet one in person, and if things click you have made a life long friend. That happened to me many years ago on a pipe smoking forum.

Anyway, visit when you can. You are always welcome.

Good to hear you are still lurking around and participate whenever you can! Wait until you try some great artisan soaps, then you will never go back to Barbasol. Hee hee.

I have a travel sized can of Barbasol in my travel bag along with an original '70's Trac II. Got a pretty darn decent shave while on the road Thanksgiving morning.

The trac II reminds me of my father's razor. It still sits on the counter even though he hasn't had blades for it in years. Older than me by a few decades.
