In my line of work I often have to get on the Go - usually for training or exercises - and as such I keep my GoBag packed at all times.

A major issue when it comes to the GoBag is space; if something don't fit in the bag, it means it either dont come with or something else must be taken out... with that in mind, and after a bit of experimentation, I have put together a small yet comprehensive travel kit that not only fit in there, but gives me a DFS too.

While I might still change a thing or two, this is what's in my GoBag:
- A travel sized bottle of Dr Bronners soap - useful for more than shaving
- Merkur 985CL open comb travel razor - breaks down into a pouch about 4cm square
- A pack of Wilkinson Sword blades - works well in the 985CL
- Body Shop synthetic brush - not the best brush, but small and dries fast
- Lea Shave stick - shaves well, and the plastic tube protects it well
- A travel sized bottle of Krampert's Finest Bay Rum
All in all a fraction of the stuff in my den, but I still get better shaves than the electric and cartridge crowd.

That is a very nice compact and efficient kit you put together Hans. You covered just about everything you would need.

Not that much to see really - it's one of these:

T-shirts, boxers and dry socks in the middle, a light sleeping bag, dry foods, powder coffee and related odds and ends fill the bottom room, while the space in the lid is for toiletries, phone charger and a book.

I could try to get a snap of the travel kit in one place though - has to wait until I'm at work.

Having your Bay Rum in there is what turns it from a shave to an experience Brian... also got a comment from a cute young sergeant that I smelled good one morning; if I had thought she needed a shave I would have recommended that she get some herself Tongue

The flat pack bowl was actually my Better Half's idea; it was also her idea that I should look into traditional wetshaving in the first place.

Yeah, I got a wonderful wife BiggrinBiggrinBiggrin

That flat bowl is quite clever and perfect for travel. I might have to look into one of those.
