Ever have something show up and you have no idea where it came from? Well, that happened to me this morning. Brown box, no return address, no note inside the box. Just this KOH-I-NOOR boar brush. So, if someone here sent it, a big thank you and if not, must by my guardian angel.

Mystery solved. It was a miracle. I was not suppose to see this brush as it was a Christmas gift for me from my dear wife. I had to apologize for ruining her surprise and promised to shave with it on Christmas Day.

I said miracle because my wife has never bought me anything shaving related in the past 31-years.

That's a nice gift, and I hope it lathers well for you. My wife has clearly expressed that she has a "hands off" approach, letting me buy my own shaving stuff.

Please do not see this as advertising of UFO handles. This is a personal project of a UFO handle with two NEW heads (long and short comb) Rhodium plated. This project has been long awaited by the difficulty of finding a jewelry plating workshop in Barcelona that would do the job. It has been possible thanks to a long comb NEW head that a friend of the Spanish forum afeitadoclasico (bleach) sent to me, and a short comb NEW head our brother Brents of California sent to me also.

The other razor with a British NEW head, is a personal project of Rafael.

It took a month but it finally arrived.

Made by Semogue and the knot and loft are about the size of the Semogue 1438. Handle is a little larger than the 1438.

I received my package from WM.Neumann today. I ordered the 1907 After Shave Splash and I'm very glad I did. It smells Awesome. I also ordered the scent sampler and I also am a fan of the 1907 Signature and the Heartwood. They have great customer service. I was refunded my money on the sampler and Bill also threw in a very nice full size bath bar of Berry Juniper.

After lunch and on my way back to the office I stopped by the antique mall that literally sits overlooking my office. I've pretty much cleared this place out of most shaving items except for some overpriced Schick injectors. Today I found an Old Spice mug that was pretty faded. I almost didn't pick it up given how faded it was but thought I'd at least like to see the price. It was a bit heavier than I expected as I picked it up off the shelf. Once down to eye level I could see an unused puck of Old Spice shave soap in the mug. I quickly looked at the price and ran to the register to purchase right away.

$5.43 later and I have my 3rd Old Spice mug and 2nd Old Spice soap. I now know what I'm lathering with tomorrow! Aaaaa
