I just bought 5 Thäters to company my lonely Thäter 49125/2 2-Band Bulb, which really have been feeling sad and lonely for the past month or so Tongue Tongue

But I hope I did make the right choice, since I was in doubt whether the black handled Thäter will be prone to attrating fingerprints, scratches and soap residue too easily Dodgy

Would you say I made some solid choices or what, based on the fact that I facelather exclusively Huh

Whoa, what a haul, Claus! Those are great looking brushes. I don't have any Thaters, but I certainly can admire them.

Some awesome brushes Claus!

Thater make some of the finest brushes out there. I have 3 and love them a lot!

The softest tips in the business IMO.

Honestly, I think you are in need for some kind of treatment. This is not the usual kind of SBAD we all know and are joking about, for me this is evolving into a kind of real addiction, psychological disorder or something like this. Nothing to make jokes with.

Do you want to run a brush museum or what is your intention? How can you ever enjoy all those luxurious brushes, when you order them in quantities of half a dozen week by week? When you get them, where do you go next? Ask yourself what's the reason for your hunger, how can you ever satisfy your hunger? I really think all this brushmania made you sick!

And honestly I don't think it's helpful when other users here simply say "Applause, applause! Very well done! Go and buy more!"

And to answer your question, I think it is a very stupid idea to order five Thäters on a single day.

Claus, you must be crazy rich to do what you do. I own the 49125 in three band, and the 4125 in 2 band. Must haves for face latherers.

It's not Lamborghinis, just brushes Biggrin

I just sold my 2500 piece cd collection - bought a Burberry coat and an iPad mini for the GF, then bought Some Shavemacs, Simpsons, Thäters and an iPhone 5 + an iPad mini for myself.
I now run my music from 3 backup HDD drives, a Sonos system and an Apple TimeCapsule.

I did the same thing a few years ago Claus except I did right when iPods came out. Burned all my CDs off to the hard drive of my computer, then took them all and sold them and bought an iPod. I obviously didn't get as much for mine as you did.

Claus, you did admirably. Indeed, Thater brushes are superb in every way. I, too, have five and can't get enough of them. Except for a 24 mm, the rest of mine are 22 mm, my preferred size in brushes, especially the Thaters. Good show. Enjoy the brushes.

1) Why? If he can afford it, why not.

2) I would imagine his intention is to use them one day at a time. That is what I do.

3) I hope you do not think it is very stupid for me to order 5-7 Semogue or Vulfix boars at a time. Heck, if I had the money and could afford it, I would order 7 Plisson's tomorrow.

Anyone who can afford these nice brush collections, keep posting pictures. Most of us enjoy looking at them.

I have the 4125/3 I in 3 band. I like larger brushes and its specs are 56/28 mm. It has the ivory octagonal handle with the bulb shape knot. Great brush. After my Chubby 2 and 3 it's my most densely packed brush.

Hi Claus!

I think there may be a shoe shopping moment for the GF after this haul. Biggrin

From my perspective, I would have ordered them one-by-one to prolong the joy and expectation. Maybe we should start a "brush of the month club" so we all could fuel our SBAD and not face the wrath of our better half! Rolleyes

Best!

Michael
