I saw Teiste writing about the TF&H Lavender, and for some odd reason I have never tried that cream - maybe because the sample I got was very purple in color and I once stained my brush with a GFT cream that was pinkish in color, so I think if I remember correctly that was the reason I never got to teste the TF&H Lavender cream.

With that said here is my Top 3 Lavender creams:

1. Castle Forbes Lavender
2. Art of Shaving Lavender
3. Musgo Real Lavender

Honorable mention:
Lavanda old
Lavanda new
TF&H Ultimate Comfort (not really a lavender cream, but has a clear note of lavender going to my nose)

I like lavender, so it's kind of strange that the only lavender cream I have is the cheap and cheerful one from Derby... it gives a good shave though Wink

I've only used one lavender cream: Herbs of Bulgaria Lavender. It's pretty reasonably priced, provides a decent shave. The scent is kind of a sweet floral, not "spicy" or herbal like I was expecting, but very pleasant.

I would say for me they are:

1) Lavanda (new formulation)
2) Lavanda (old formulation)
3) Arko Extra Sensitive (very light lavender scent, but still nice)

I like a lighter scent so the only lavender cream I would consider buying again is TF&H Ultimate Comfort. I still have a little Castle Forbes left in a tub, but I haven't used it in over a year. I get my lavender fix from DRH Lavender soap.

The L'Occitane cream I have tried had wonderful scents, but the shaving performance of the cream was simply downright bad, we're talking REALLY REALLY BAD as in 2/10 for performance.........

So I don't rate that cream, since its performance is poorer than a can of Gillette shaving Gel to be honest Smile

All is of course my personal opinion......

But the scents from L'Occitane are all very fine.

When I first thought Lavender was a favorite, the top 3 creams were:

Castle Forbes
Truefitt & Hill
AOS

It took a while, but now I perceive Lavender as too flowery to be my cup of tea, and I even enjoyed TOBS Lavender soap for a brief while, until I moved away from Lavender products altogether. A few months ago I bought a new tub of Castle Forbes and by the time it came, I had lost my taste for it.

You are right about that, the L'occitane Cade shaving cream is a 2/10, VERY BAD! even though it smells wonderful.

That said, My favorite lavender creams are:

AOS Lavender
Razorock King Louis Lavender
and I have the T&H Lavender cream on the way, so I'll just wait...

If you care to count croaps, I have two and I love them both.

RazoRock King Louis Lavender.
Mystic Water Wild Lavender.

The King Louis has a softer scent, if that makes any sense. There almost a powdery nuance to it.

The MW Wild Lavender is definitely more of a spicy, herbal scent.

Im a Lavender scent lover , and I would go for :

1.Trueffit and Hill lavender cream. Its scent reminds me of the old Acqua Di Parma Lavanda Tonica EDT , which sadly , is no longer with us.

2.Tabula Rasa Dark Lavender.Great deep scent.

3.D.R. Harris Lavender.Nice scent.The TOBS one too.

and I should mention the new Musgo Real Lavanda and the Lavanda cream.Portuguese pride.
