Just finished buffing this for someone today. I was too lazy to take before pictures. Imagine a line of rust on the top half and rust all over the tang.

I particularly like the detail of maintaining the original scales - although the original Filarmonica scales are generally not very nifty.

I consider buffin a full restore as there's hardly a razor that comes my way for restoration that doesn't require some sanding to zap off the layer of crud that's been allowed to build up.

I buffed the scales too. Scales are easy. Very quick to be honest.
