Is it like the new Muhle/new TGN/HIS fiber?
Here is an image shot of the VB 24 mm.
Here is an image shot of the New TGN 24 mm.
I also have a New TGN in 24 at my desk and I have compared it visually against the VB and it looks exactly like the New TGN.
It is definitely not Muhle Version 1 fiber, Muhle Version 2 fiber or the H.I.S. fiber.
I hope this helps.

The handle was a bit large for me.
I have the muele synthetic enroute to me.
The muele handle looks really nicely finished from
The photos I've seen.
The HIS handle looked like a typical plastic handle with heavy weight.
That goes back to this thread where I cut the fibers away completely and created my own new smaller knot in a different handle.
As to the Muhle, what version of fiber is it?

What are you thoughts on the differences between the VB/TGN synthetics and the Muhle V.2? I read your thread here that you thought the TGN was not flagged as much.
True I don't think it is both produced or flagged the same way as the H.I.S. fiber. The H.I.S. fiber is spun to create a different texture and his flagged more (longer) to create a softer tip. The TGN/VB fiber is a step down from the top of the line fiber class, but don't let that deter you from using a brush with it. I think this knot is a good performer and provides the user with an excellent value at the price point. I enjoy using this class of knot and will make some more restorations in the future using it.
Speaking of restorations, here is one with using the 20 mm version.
