I received these three brushes today to add to the daily rotation.

Very nice. Do you notice a difference in the quality of the badger hair, new vs. old?

I have to admit that I've only used a couple modern Simpsons briefly. It may just be my imagination, but it seems to me that the older brushes have more individual character, a little more variety in how they look and feel to me when used.
