My last 2 shaves while traveling for an early Christmas with my family.

[Image: 437395B7-2D05-4069-9A1B-38D99F5BFBBE-163...7E6CFE.jpg]

Razor: Cobra Classic + Feather Professional (9 & 10)
Brush: Muhle Black Fibre Basic 2 White
Soap: JABONMAN -- Jabon Marsella
AS: Krampert's Finest Acadian Spice Bay Rum -- Hip Flask

Starting to feel like the Feather Professiomal blade is reaching its limit. I plan on pushing it to failure, however, & it's not there yet. Still getting the JABONMAN soap dialed in. I find it to need very little soap & quite a bit of water. I think I've been over loading it. Today with less of a load was my best lather yet from it. Face feel afterwards is still superb.

#6 Horsehair
Dovo Bismarck 5/8
Ginger's Garden Ice Mint SS
444 AS Balsam
Floid Classic AS

What a shave, what a shave, what a shave - all week I rush myself, but today there was no way I was going to rush for anyone. My prep was first a hot shower, then 2 hot towels on my face, followed by a good massage, 2 more hot towels, then the lathering. I absolutely LOVE Irena's Ginger's Garden Ice Mint soap. It lathers so rich and easily, the minty scent fills the bathroom, and it gives a fabulous menthol blast. The post-shave care is also awesome. The 444 balsam and the Floid Classic aftershave felt so frigid and delightful afterwards!

While not the absolute perfection of Friday, still a great shave.

SOTD Sunday:

Lord L6 / Derby (1)
Arko Shave Stick
Simpson Chubby 2
Arko Cool AS
Nivea Creme

Nice BBS. I am officially an Arkoholic Smile . The wife loves the clean scent in the bathroom and even loves the AS scents. It's weird that I like using a soap with a brush that is 100x it's price.

I will keep chipping away at my shaving cream stash but in reality they will probably end up binned except for one or two. Soaps just give such a better shave to me. I have tried working the brush more on my face with creams to mimic the time face lathering a soap but it just does not work. Creams just lack something that my face and whiskers need.

Today I tried something new Biggrin Too much time on the forum Biggrin

Hot towel prep with glycerin soap
Mitchels Wool Fat soap with a dab of Barbon Shave cream
Semogue 620 boar
First two passes with a Gem OCMM, today with a carbon blade (SMOOTHE)
Then I buffed out the neck with the Fattip Grande Gunmetal with a fresh Crystal blade
Then the usual alum and witch hazel

BBS, actually Smoothe as Glass No burn at all with the alum I had to check my face again to make sure I had actually put blades in this morning.
