Which do you prefer. One or the other? Both? Neither? Please vote, thanks.

I use both.

Both! Too many variables to list why I choose one over the other after the shave or why I choose both. But mostly... no reason, whatever I feel like Biggrin

I love alcohol based splashes. To me it's the perfect touch to the end of the shave. Some people feel their drying or they don't heal well but I feel the opposite. I just counted and I have 39 different splashes.

Mostly after shave in the summer, but in the winter after my shower/shave I usually need to use both.
In the mornings though its usually just AS. I work at home by myself but still like to have it on Cool

My splashes are various witch hazel blends (Thayers, plain Dickinson) followed by a balm like Speick, or Trumpers. If I really have a bad day with a straight, Prorasso Green Tea & Oat. Aftershaves I use for the scent (arms, back of neck) and usually not on my face and neck as their high alcohol content is irritating and very drying. Blush

Bay Rum or AS most days, balm a couple times/week in colder, drier weather. voted "both".

I voted for and use both, and I use them at the same time. The after shave splash for the initial healing and the scent, and the balm for my old dry skin.

Splash for me. My skin leans on the oily side and the alcohol tones so well.

As my SOTD photos state, it is always Thayers witch hazel followed by unrefined shea butter. i guess they could be considered a splash and a balm.

Splash! I don't like the sticky feeling that a lot of balms leave on my face.

I chose splash because it's my preference, but not a strong one. I have several balms I like, too.
