I use QCS Vostok (not the croap) it's not totally rock hard but it's fairly hard, about the consistency of Arko, hard but malleable. Smells like Peppermint and menthol and will totally freeze your yarbles off.

Other than that I don't know many hard, cold soaps..why I usually just add a couple of drops of menthol to my brush after loading my favorite soaps.

RazoRock's Mentolipto is nice but it's a croap really. But it's got an intense menthol level and it lathers great. Mama Bear's Awakenings is the most intense menthol soap I have. It's also got a strong peppermint scent which is nice. It's a glycerin based soap which a lot of people don't like but I think all of Mama Bear's Soaps lather very easily and they produce a very stable lather.

I have a full puck of The Shave Den Iced Sub-Zero. It's a really cold soap, and lathers very well.

Prospect Creek from Mystic Water is good, too, but it's a croap. Great peppermint smell, though.

I love menthol, and spearmint is okay, but can't stand peppermint.
I'm on my second tub of mamma bear's menthol lime and love it...tried the mandarin menthol and it's almost too intense, kinda burns my eyes while I'm using it, but feels great on my face

Again, both are a glycerine based soap, so not the hardest stuff out there

Mamma Bear's Awakening is also a face freezer - good for summer though.

This is the best I found, you find a better gentlemanly scented mentholated soap, let me know, I'll pay you for the the puck of Mama Bears.

I should note that you can add menthol to any of the TSD soaps you want, but by god they're probably the worst soaps I have ever used.

TSD = The Shave Den

They have their own shop to help subsidize their forum.
