I started with the very best of intentions...and then of course failed miserably.

We all start with the best of intentions ... I'm spending more on shaving products now then ever before ... saving money not so much as enjoying profoundly improved quality of life! Nice article though Smile

Welcome to the club. Although for me the move back to traditional shaving was for my skin, the thought of saving money was a good reason to move forward as well. Hopefully my AD dies down and I'll be OK for a bit. MdC has put an end to my searching for better soaps and overall I am in a good place with razors as well (although I do *need* one more Joris).

I was thinking about this video while eating breakfast. Two things kept hitting me about it. First, where in the world is this guy buying blades that they cost $1 each??? Second, to me moving away from canned goo was better for me and my skin than the switch from a Mach 3 to a DE.

Maybe this is just a way to get people re-interested in more traditional wet shaving, but a buck a blade and canned goo still seems just plain wrong to me. Cool
