There was a mistake on my recent order from Harris. I ordered Beech bowls of Windsor soap but received Mahogany bowls of Windsor soap instead. I do not generally carry the Harris soaps in Mahogany and do not really want to start now. So...they must go. Get them while you can.

D.R. Harris Windsor in Mahogany Bowls

Phil, may I ask why you don't want to carry the mahogany? Just curious.

It is just another opportunity to make a mistake plus thousands more $ in inventory with no real extra return.

Well yeah, that makes sense. I know you really like Arlington. How would you compare Windsor scent wise?

Windsor is an interesting scent. There is a definite vetiver note to it. The aftershave and cologne is fairly potent but the scent of the shave soap fades pretty quickly. I like the scent but if you have a strong distaste for vetiver, you may not.

Great price on the Windsor, Phil. This soap's knocked Arlington from my top spot.

I don't know much about D.R.Harris soaps or any D.R.Harris product. Are they worth the price?

Many English shaving soaps have suffered in the reformulations but D R. Harris soaps(Naturals excepted)continue to use tallow as the second ingredient and performance is outstanding. Buy with confidence-you won't be disappointed.
