I was wondering if anyone knows the thread size on the EJ DE89, I read that the majority of heads have a 10-32 thread. I made a handle and tapped a 10-32 thread but it does not screw on as easily as it should and I don't want to ruin my EJ head. Any info would be greatly appreciated!
Cheers

I know the Cooncat handle I was looking at was threaded metric M5 X 0.8 thread and it fit both my R41 and EJDE89 razors.

The older American Gillette,Stars etc used the 10/32 and the Europeans used the metric M5 X 0.8 which is slightly larger...just re-tap you handle threads and it will work.Idea

Thanks guys for your input, I did re-tap the handle with the metric size and it worked out great. Will post pictures once I decide how to finish the handle. I was thinking about crome but I think a flat black powder coat might be nice too.
Cheers
