Throughout my years here on the forums, I have been helped along the way by many folks.

I've had people send me samples of soaps and creams, loan or give me razors, send me an envelope with just a few blades in it all the way from Australia!

That kind of endless generosity and the genuine desire to help one another is what makes our communities great.

Recently an old college friend of mine, after seeing and talking for hours about all my wet shaving gear, decided to take the plunge and dive straight into it. After all the help I've received from others, I really want to help him get off to a good start.

He is my age (27) and just yesterday he and his wife celebrated the birth of their second child. Needless to say, money is tight. He's off to a good start with a decent DE and a new Vintage Blades 22mm 2-Band brush, but I want him to be able to experience more variety early on so he can see what he really likes.

All the stuff in this picture will be sent to him as a PIF. Also included will be a few shave sticks and some small pots of English and QCS creams. I hope he'll enjoy it.

BTW the AS samples are Proraso, Windsor, Speick and Osage Rub.

Cool! That's what PIFs are all about.

A ClogPruf is a decent example of a SE razor. You covered it all.

Great job! Congrats on converting a friend to wet shaving too. I've converted a few of my friends and I've always enjoyed hooking them up with gear too.
